Police appeal to locate teen missing from Pymble

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Sydney's Upper North Shore.

Jack Friend, aged 17, was last seen at his home on Nithdale Street, Pymble, about 7pm yesterday (Friday 17 December 2021).

About 9am today (Saturday 18 December 2021), he was reported missing to officers from Kuring-gai Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns to Jack's welfare as he lives with autism.

Jack is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build, with curly brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, navy blue shorts, blue sneakers and a black backpack.

He is known to frequent the Manly and the Sydney CBD areas.
