Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's western suburbs.
Mary Akuot, aged 13, was last seen at a home on Marshall Avenue, Ropes Crossing about 5.30pm yesterday (Thursday 8 September 2022).
When she could not be located, officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command commenced inquiries to locate her.
Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Mary is described as being of African appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with black braided hair.
She was last seen wearing her school uniform.
She is known to frequent the Mt Druitt and St Mary's areas.
