Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Reservoir this evening.
Investigators have been told a car was travelling along High Street about 7.15pm when the driver lost control of her vehicle.
Her car crashed into a number of vehicles which caused a number of concertina and other collisions.
In all six or seven vehicles were damaged.
Unfortunately the female driver died at the scene.
Two other people were taken to hospital with serious injuries while a number of others were treated at the scene by emergency services.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
