Police are responding to fatal crash at Belvidere

Major Crash Officers are investigating a fatal crash at Belvidere early this morning.

Just after 1.15am on Sunday 4 December police and emergency services responded to reports of a car crashing into a tree on Langhorne Creek Road about 2kms from Milang Road.

Sadly the driver of the car a 58-year-old woman from Strathablyn died at the scene. A male passenger aged 27 also from Strathablyn was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Langhorne Creek road is closed around the crash scene and diversions are in place. Please avoid the area if you can.
