Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash - Cronulla

A man has died after a motorcycle crash in Sydney's south.

About 6am today (Saturday 5 September 2026), emergency services were called to Giddings Avenue, Cronulla, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command attended and found a man with head injuries lying near a motorcycle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and the treated the man, however he died at the scene.

While the man is yet to be formally identified, he is believed to be aged in his 60s.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Inquiries are ongoing.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
