About 12.55pm, a white Toyota Landcruiser, a white Kia Carnival sedan and a white Isuzu truck were involved in a collision on Reid Highway.
The 49-year-old male driver of the Kia Carnival died from his injuries sustained at the scene. The 26-year-old male passenger was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The 52-year-old male driver of the Toyota Landcruiser was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital, and the 12-year-old female passenger was conveyed to Perth Children's Hospital, for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The 47-year-old male driver of the truck was uninjured.
