Police Are Responding To Fatal Crash In Bentley

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are seeking the public's assistance for information following a fatal crash that occurred in Bentley on Saturday, 16 May 2026.

About 11.30pm, a blue Hyundai i30 hatchback struck a pedestrian in the carpark of a shopping centre located on Albany Highway near John Street.

The pedestrian, a 19-year-old woman, sustained critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 19-year-old man, is assisting police with inquiries.
