A woman has died following a serious traffic crash at Loganholme yesterday afternoon, 18 May.
Initial investigations indicate that around 3.40pm, the drivers of a white Audi hatchback and a black MG station wagon pulled over to exchange details following a minor crash on the Pacific Motorway northbound prior to Exit 30.
As the driver of the Audi, a woman in her 30s, returned to her vehicle she was struck by a white Isuzu dual cab utility.
The woman sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
The Isuzu driver, a man in his 30s, came to a stop at the Logan Motorway exit at Tanah Merah. He is assisting police with their enquiries.
Following the initial incidents, two separate nose-to-tail crashes occurred, also on the northbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway.
The road was closed to all traffic while the Forensic Crash Unit investigated the scene and reopened just after 8.30pm.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage is urged to contact Police.
Police are urging all motorists to be mindful of their driving and take necessary precautions to ensure everyone reaches their destinations safely.
