About 1.15am, an off-road motorcycle was travelling on Chadstone Road in Craigie when the pillion passenger, a 48-year-old woman, fell from the bike.
The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.
The 48-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was uninjured and is assisting police with inquiries.
