Two stolen vehicles were recovered in the State's South East this morning.
A white Toyota LandCruiser was reported stolen from a Mount Gambier address about 4.15am on Saturday 4 July.
Police then received a report that a grey Ford Ranger utility was stolen from the driveway of a Yahl property just after 7am on Saturday 4 July.
The stolen white Toyota LandCruiser was located crashed and abandoned nearby at the intersection of Woodlands Road and Yahl Hall Road, Yahl.
The LandCruiser was towed for forensic examination.
The stolen Ford Ranger was GPS tracked travelling along the Riddoch Highway.
Patrols located the stolen vehicle on the side of the Riddoch Highway near Naracoorte about 9.15am.
The vehicle had left the highway but skidded on the grass verge and collided with a tree.
The alleged driver, a 36-year-old Mount Gambier man, was quickly arrested nearby. He was charged with two counts of illegal use, driving unlicensed (never held), and aggravated driving without due care. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on Monday 6 July.
The arrested man was was not injured in the crash.
The stolen Ford Ranger was also towed for forensic examination.
Investigations are continuing.
