Police arrest pair after firearm incident in Wodonga

Police have charged a man following an alleged firearms incident in Wodonga last night.

It is alleged the man discharged a firearm following a verbal argument at car park off South Street about 7pm on 21 October.

Shortly later, police arrested a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman in High Street where they seized a firearm.

The Wagga Wagga man and Albury woman continue to assist Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit with their enquiries.

No one was injured during the incident and police believe the parties involved in the incident are known to each other.
