Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy following the stabbing of a teenage boy in Brighton last month.
Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed a search warrant in South Yarra yesterday morning about 10am and arrested the teen a short time later.
Detectives are expected to charge the boy on summons at a later date.
Police and emergency services were called to reports of a brawl within Elsternwick Park on Saturday 22 May about 9.30pm.
During the alleged incident, a 17-year-old Elwood boy sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
