Police arrest three after drugs and cash seized during warrants

Investigators from Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit have arrested three people today and seized alleged drugs following two warrants this morning.

Police forced entry to two properties in Murphy Street, Deer Park and Colorado Crescent, Rowville about 7.15am.

At the two properties, officers located what is alleged to be a commercial quantity of 1-4 butanediol, crystal methylamphetamines, cannabis, ecstasy, prescription pills and cash alleged to be the proceeds of drug trafficking.

A 30-year-old woman arrested at the Deer Park address has been charged and remanded with drug trafficking and possession related offences.

She will appear before a magistrates' court at a later date.

A 21-year-old male and 19-year-old female arrested at the Rowville address are currently in custody and are expected to be charged drug trafficking and possession related offences.

Acting Senior Sergeant Ell McGibbony from the Croydon Divisional Tasking Unit said,

'the estimated street value of the drugs seized today is approximately $52,000 and equates to around 5050 street deals.'

'We're confident that today's result has disrupted a complex and well organised illicit drug distribution syndicate operating throughout Melbourne.'
