Police arrest two over arson and property damage, South Australia

Two men have been arrested after an investigation into car fires and property damage.

Police will allege that about 10.56pm on 12 September two incendiary devices were thrown at a house at Croydon Park, with one exploding causing minor damage to a window.

About 12.24am on 14 September a Holden Cruze sedan was set alight at Milang destroying the vehicle. About two hours later a Mitsubishi Magna sedan and a Mercedes station wagon at Elizabeth North were set alight causing extensive damage

Today (Thursday 17 September) members of the Crime Gangs Task Force and Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both of Murray Bridge. They were charged with two counts of arson and one count of property damage.

They were both refused bail to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court today.

It will also be alleged that both men have associations with outlaw motorcycle gangs.
