Police charge man after Moe stabbing

Morewell Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man following a stabbing in Moe over the weekend.

A 38-year-old Moe man has been charged with intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury and assault.

It is alleged a 39-year-old man was stabbed at a property on John Street following an altercation about 6.10pm on Saturday, 13 August.

He was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening-injuries and remains in a stable condition.

The 38-year-old man was arrested a short time later on Mitchells Road.

He's been bailed and will appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court on 31 October 2022.
