Police Charge Man Over Drug Supply - Kings Cross

A man has been charged with alleged drug supply following a stop at a railway station in Kings Cross.

Just before 4pm yesterday (Thursday 26 February 2026), Police Transport Command North Central officers were conducting a drug dog operation at Kings Cross Railway Station.

A 35-year-old man was stopped and spoken to following an alleged drug detection.

The man was subsequently searched with police locating and seizing methylamphetamine, cannabis, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, numerous resealable bags, scales, multiple sim cards and house breaking implements.

He was arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where he was charged with eight offences;

- Supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity

- Two counts of possess prohibited drug

- Possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs

- Possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance

- Possess housebreaking implements

- Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100000 and less than $5000

- Goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (not motor vehicle)

The man was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 7 today (Friday 27 February 2026).
