Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a 48-year-old man as part of their ongoing investigation into the sexual assault of female employees.
It is alleged during 2020, the man who is the owner and manager of a restaurant in Highgate, physically and sexually assaulted six female employees aged in their 20s and 30s. The women who are foreign nationals had recently been employed by the man when the offences occurred.
The man from Highgate has been charged with:-
• Nine counts of Unlawful and Indecent Assault;
• Four counts of Common Assault; and
• Three counts of Sexual Penetration without Consent.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 4 March 2021.
