Police charge two over stabbing at Liverpool

Two women has been charged over allegedly stabbing of another woman in Liverpool last night.

About 10.00pm on Saturday 27 May 2023, emergency services were called to Shepherd Street, Liverpool, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and located a 20-year-old woman who had suffered multiple stab wounds.

She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the incident.

A 19 and 20-year-old women were arrested a short time later and taken to Liverpool Police Station.

They have been charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

They were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 28 May 2023).
