Major Collison Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman following a fatal collision in Seaford earlier this week.
A Toyota RAV4 and Holden Captiva collided on the Nepean Highway, near Station Street, just after 2.30pm on Monday, 27 July.
The 72-year-old male driver of the RAV4, from Seaford, was taken to hospital in a critical condition where he sadly died.
The female driver of the Captiva was not injured.
The 64-year-old Frankston East woman was interviewed by detectives and has been charged with culpable driving.
She was remanded overnight to appear at Frankston Magistrates' Court today.
