Police charge woman with historical child sexual abuse incidents

Cold Case Serious Crime Squad detectives have charged a 30-year-old woman as a result of their investigation into alleged historic child sexual abuse incidents.

It is alleged between June 2008 and March 2011, the woman sexually assaulted a girl who was 13-years-old at the time of the first incident.

It will be alleged the incidents occurred when the woman was a member and volunteer youth leader of a Church Youth Group located in a south metropolitan suburb.

The woman from Beeliar has been charged with:-

• Two counts of Sexually Penetrated a Child over 13 years and under 16 years;

• Four counts of Indecently Deals with a Child over 13 years and under 16 years; and

• One count of Child under 16 years: Persistent Sexual Conduct with.

She is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 5 April 2019.
