Police investigate aggravated break and enter - Smithfield

Fairfield City Police Area Command are investigating following an aggravated break and enter in Sydney's west this morning.

Just after 4am (Friday 4 June 2021) officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended Snowden Crescent following reports three men - possibly armed - entered a house.

Police have been told the masked men threatened the male occupant before running from the Smithfield home.

At the time there were two adults and a child in the house, and no one was injured.

The men left the house empty handed and were last seen running towards a white ute parked in Snowdon Crescent that was driven towards Eyre Street.

Police established a perimeter and the Dog Unit attended.

A crime scene was established and will be forensically examined.

The men are described as being aged 25-30, with muscular builds.

Investigations are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information about this incident or noticed a white ute in the vicinity, to call Fairfield Police Station on (02) 9728 8399 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
