Police Investigate Belmont Store Fire

Detectives from Taskforce Lunar are investigating following a suspicious fire in Belmont this morning.

The incident occurred at a tobacco store on High Street around 12.30am on Friday, 5 April.

Nobody was inside the premises at the time and the store sustained minor damage during the incident.

Investigators are treating the fire as a targeted attack and will look at any possible links to other recent fires.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the fire or who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage.
