Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Dandenong this evening.
Emergency services were called to Dawn Avenue about 9.55pm after a car crashed into a pole.
The driver, believed to be a man in his 50s and believed to be suffering from gunshot wounds, died at the scene.
Homicide Squad detectives are en route to investigate.
