Police investigate enter with intent at Logan

Detectives are looking into whether separate break ins at two tobacconists and a supermarket across Logan this week may be linked.

Around 11.50pm on Monday, May 17, two masked offenders forced their way into a Cusack Lane business at Jimboomba where they damaged a number of cupboards inside the store before stealing a quantity of cigarettes.

The thieves then left in a sedan travelling north on the Mount Lindesay Highway.

Less than an hour later, two masked thieves forced their way into a Yarrabilba Drive supermarket at Yarrabilba.

Once inside the store they removed a number of tobacco items and cash before accelerating away in sedan.

Shortly before 2am, the same gold sedan pulls up to the rear of an Eagleby shopping centre where two masked offenders force their way into a store.

They then enter an adjoining business and remove a large number of tobacco products before fleeing in the gold sedan.

Detectives have released a series of images and CCTV footage as they appeal for assistance to identify the thieves.

Investigations into the three incidents continue.
