Police investigate hit-run in Donvale

Nunawading Highway Patrol officers are appealing for information after a hit-run collision in Donvale.

Officers have been told a woman was getting items out of her car which was parked on Tunstall Road about 10pm on 25 February.

It is believed a red Mazda CX-5 drove passed the woman and crushed her between the Mazda and her car.

The victim, a 50-year-old woman from Box Hill, was taken to hospital with lacerations to her head.

The Mazda did not stop at the scene.

Investigators believe the car involved will be missing a left side mirror and may have damage to front and rear lights.
