A 36 year old woman has died in non-suspicious circumstances at a residence in Riverside.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 10am today, where the woman was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Her two children, boys aged 4 and 1, were also in the residence and were taken to the Launceston General Hospital for assessment.
The 1 year old has since been flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital for further treatment in a serious condition.
Police will examine the circumstances of this incident, however do not believe anyone else was involved.
Our thoughts are with the woman's family and loved ones at this difficult time.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
