Police investigate Seacliff Park robbery , SA

Police are investigating a robbery at a Seacliff Park supermarket this evening, according to SA Police.

About 8.45pm on Sunday 9 October a man entered the Seacombe Road supermarket and attempted to steal food items from the store. When the man was confronted by a staff member he allegedly produced a knife and threatened them.

A member of the public followed the suspect out of the store and managed to retrieve the stolen property. The suspect was last seen walking west on Seacombe Road.

No one was physically injured.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early twenties, about 180cm tall with average build and wearing a mustard coloured hooded top.

Police are yet to speak with the member of the public who assisted staff and followed the suspect, and are appealing for that person to come forward and contact police.
