Cannington detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred on Thursday, 2 March 2023 on Bruce Close in Como.
About 3pm, the victim – a man in his 50s – was sitting in his parked Mercedez Benz panel van on Bruce Close when he was approached by four men who demanded he hand over his belongings.
The victim refused and upon exiting the vehicle, he was physically assaulted by all four men.
The group fled the area on foot and the driver conveyed himself to Fiona Stanley Hospital for treatment of significant head injuries.
One of the men was wearing a full-face mask and another is described as being approximately 20-years-old, of skinny build with brown hair.
