Cannington Detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred in Victoria Park on Sunday 24 January 2021.
Sometime after 2.30am the victim, a man in his 30s, left a Karaoke venue in Albany Highway with two friends. The group were outside a chemist, near King George Street, when the victim was assaulted by an unknown man.
The victim was punched in the head and fell to the ground. He suffered a serious head injury and was hospitalised. He has since recovered.
The man is described as fair skinned, between 25 – 35 years, around 185cm tall, with blonde hair. At the time he was wearing a light blue shirt, light coloured trousers and brown dress shoes.
He was in company with a fair skinned woman aged between 25 – 35 years, around 170cm tall with blonde hair. At the time she was wearing a dark coloured spotted dress.
A black car left the area around the time of the assault.
