Police investigate serious assault atthe CBD, South Australia

Police have release footage of a serious assault that occurred in the city last month and are asking for public assistance to identify the two people involved.

Just before 4am on Sunday 3 July, a victim was at the intersection of Crippen Place and Morphett Street in the city when an unknown man approached him and punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

As he was lying on the ground an unknown woman kicked the victim in the face and then walked away from the scene.

The victim, a 21-year-old man from Campbelltown, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by SAAS where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The male suspect is described as being Caucasian, aged in his early 20's, approximately 170cm tall, with a slim build, shaved brown hair and big eyes. He was wearing black jeans, white shoes and he was shirtless.

The female suspect is described as being Caucasian, aged in her early 20's with blonde hair and a large forehead. She was wearing black pants and a white short sleeved shirt.
