Police are investigating after a woman was seriously injured during an altercation in Barwon Heads last night.
It is believed the woman was injured during the altercation on Bridge Road on Saturday, 19 April just before 11pm.
A woman is her 40's was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 55-year-old man has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries where he remains under police guard.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway.
