Police investigate stabbing at Toongabbie

Investigations are underway after a man was stabbed in Toongabbie overnight.

In the evening of Saturday 12 December 2020, a 32-year-old man was with a number of friends in the front yard of his Valeria Street home.

As the resident approached the group he was stabbed in the chest.

The group ran from the scene as police and NSW Ambulance paramedics were called.

Emergency services arrived and treated the man before he was taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established at the Valeria Street residence as inquiries continue by officers from Blacktown Police Area Command.
