Police and emergency services responded to reports of a car into a house in Sunshine West last night, 1 January.
Investigators have been told a white Mercedes C63 AMG was travelling north on Fitzgerald Road when the driver lost control and crashed into a house about 9.30pm.
The male driver, a 31-year-old Altona North who was the only occupant of the vehicle was not physically injured.
The sole occupant of the home, a 57-year-old man, escaped without injury.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.
