Police investigating two Launceston pharmacy burglaries

Police are investigating two pharmacy burglaries in the Launceston area last night.

Around 9.15pm offenders entered the Youngtown Pharmacy on Hobart Road by damaging the front door to the store. A quantity of medication was stolen. Offenders were seen getting into a small black hatchback car which drove from the scene.

Around 9.35pm offenders entered the Trevallyn Pharmacy on Gorge Road by damaging the front door to the store. A quantity of medication and cash was stolen. The offenders left the scene on foot. A small black hatchback car was seen in the vicinity of the pharmacy at the time.

Police would like to speak to anyone with information in relation to the burglaries or sightings of a black hatchback car or suspicious activity in the area at the time.
