Police lay charges after Parkdale aggravated burglary

Detectives from Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit have charged five teens following an alleged aggravated burglary in Parkdale on Saturday morning.

A 17-year-old Narre Warren boy has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, aggravated burglary, possess cannabis, going equipped to steal and handle stolen goods.

A 17-year-old Dandenong boy was also charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, aggravated burglary, going equipped to steal, possess controlled weapon and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.

A 16-year-old boy from Pakenham has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, aggravated burglary, going equipped to steal and possess drug of dependence.

The trio were all remanded and will appear at a children's court today.

A 13-year-old Cranbourne South boy was charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, aggravated burglary and going equipped to steal.

A 17-year-old Dandenong boy has been charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, aggravated burglary.

The pair were bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.

The charges follow an alleged aggravated burglary that occurred at a property on The Corso in Parkdale about 3.30am.

It is alleged the offenders stole a Mercedes from the property during the incident.

The four occupants who were home at the time, were not physically injured during the incident.

The Mercedes was located by police in nearby Kirkham Road.
