Police lay charges - Aggravated Robbery - Palmerston 17 June

Northern Territory Police Serious Crime Detectives arrested a 44-year-old man yesterday afternoon.

Police allege the man assaulted and robbed a 63-year-old man known to him on Thursday 16 June 2022.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said, "Serious Crime Detectives conducted a special operation tracking the man in the Palmerston area. Detectives located the alleged offender in Gunn yesterday afternoon and arrested him without incident."

He was charged with:

  • Aggravated robbery
  • Damage to property

He was remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
