Police lay charges - Aggravated Robbery in Coconut Grove 24 October

Northern Territory Police have arrested three youths after an aggravated robbery in Coconut Grove on Saturday.

At 9:00pm, three male youths entered a service station on Bagot Road armed with weapons. One of the youths allegedly threatened an employee before the trio stole a number of small items and fled the scene.

All three were located by police a short time later and arrested.

The offenders, aged 12, 12 and 15, have since each been charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of going armed in public.

They were remanded to appear in court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said "This is incredibly concerning behaviour that has no place within our community.

"Strike Force Trident would urge anyone who witnesses this sort of violent behaviour to immediately call triple zero."
