Police lay charges - Aggravated Robbery in Darwin City

Northern Territory Police have charged a man in relation to a robbery at a Darwin supermarket earlier this week.

Police allege the 30-year-old man threatened an employee with an edged weapon before fleeing the store around 9am on Monday 14 June.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident arrested the alleged offender yesterday at his residence in Darwin City and last night charged him with one count of aggravated robbery.

He was bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on Tuesday 22 June.
