Police make arrest after armed robbery at Wodonga service station

Detectives from the Wodonga Crime Investigation Unit have arrested a man following an armed robbery at a service station in Wodonga on Saturday morning.

The 24-year-old man was arrested by detectives at a Wodonga address about 2.30pm today.

The Wodonga man is currently assisting police with enquires.

The arrest follows an incident at a McKoy Street service station about 4.15am on 12 June.

It is alleged a man produced a firearm before stealing a sum of cash and fleeing on a motorbike.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
