Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section have charged a 29-year-old woman as a result of their investigation into a fatal crash that occurred in Baldivis on Wednesday, 11 January 2023.
It is alleged about 11.50pm, the woman was the driver of a Nissan Maxima that collided with a Nissan X-Trail on the Kwinana Freeway. The 21-year-old female driver of the Nissan X-Trail died at the scene.
The 29-year-old woman from Bayswater has been charged with:-
• Drove a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Drugs, and
• Manslaughter.
She is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 16 March 2023.
