Police Make Arrest - Aggravated Assault - Palmerston 13 March

Northern Territory Police have arrested a male following an aggravated assault in Palmerston yesterday afternoon.

Just before 5:00pm, police received a report of multiple persons fighting along Temple Terrace. Upon attendance, police located 3 injured victims, one of which with a serious laceration to the arm.

All victims were conveyed to Palmerston Regional Hospital for medical treatment.

A male offender who is known to the victims, fled the scene prior to police attendance but was later located and arrested without incident.

Northern Territory Police continue to urge members of the public who witness criminal or anti-social behaviour to call police on 131 444 or 000 in an emergency.
