Police Make Arrest - Aggravated Robbery At Casuarina 5 April

Northern Territory Police have arrested 2 youths after an aggravated robbery in Casuarina overnight.

Around 1am, police received reports that 2 female youths attended a business on Trower Road and threatened staff with a blunt weapon before fleeing on foot.

A short time the offenders returned to the premises demanding money and causing property damage before once again fleeing.

Police located and apprehended the offenders at a nearby location, allegedly in possession of items stolen from the business.

The offenders remain in custody with charges expected to follow.

Detectives continue to urge anyone who witnesses a crime or anti-social behaviour to contact police on 131 444.
