Northern Territory Police have arrested a 31-year-old woman after a serious crash in Alice Springs overnight.
Around 2:25am, police received reports a vehicle was driving erratically in the vicinity of Gregory Terrace, Alice Springs.
A short time later the vehicle struck a 38-year-old female.
Strike Force Viper, the Dog Operation Unit and general duties attended and a crime scene declared.
Both the driver and the injured pedestrian were conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment.
Investigations remain ongoing.
Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly if you have CCTV or dash-cam footage, to make contact on 131 444. You can also report anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
