Police make arrest - Crash in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 31-year-old woman after a serious crash in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 2:25am, police received reports a vehicle was driving erratically in the vicinity of Gregory Terrace, Alice Springs.

A short time later the vehicle struck a 38-year-old female.

Strike Force Viper, the Dog Operation Unit and general duties attended and a crime scene declared.

Both the driver and the injured pedestrian were conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment.

Investigations remain ongoing.
