Northern Territory Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in relation to drug offences.
Drug and Organised Crime investigators executed a search warrant at an industrial property in Berrimah on Tuesday, locating and seizing:
- Hydroponic grow room containing six cannabis plants
- Approximately 12kg of cryovac cannabis
- A large sum of money
- Items indicia of supply
The man was located at a licensed premises in Nightcliff where he was arrested and taken to the Palmerston Watch House where he was later charged with:
- Possess / supply schedule 2 - commercial quantity
- Cultivate traffickable quantity of prohibited plant
- Receive or possess property commission of offence
- Possess schedule 2 less than traffickable quantity - public place
- Unauthorised possession schedule 4 substance
He was remanded to appear before Darwin Local Court on 18 May 2022.
