Police make arrests - Property offences in Darwin

Northern Territory Police have arrested five youths following a property crime spree in Darwin in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1:15am, five youths allegedly entered a residence in Leanyer and stole a white Hyundai Accent.

The youths allegedly used the vehicle to commit property offences in Humpty Doo, Anula, Casuarina, Millner, and Jingili.

Late this morning, police in Katherine observed the stolen vehicle on Stuart Highway. Police stopped and apprehended the vehicle by deploying a tyre deflation device.

Police have arrested five males, aged 13, 13, 13, 14 and 15. They have been transported to Katherine Watch House.
