Police make arrests - Strike Force Trident in Darwin 21 December

Northern Territory Police have arrested four people in relation to a string of offences that occurred over the span of a week in early December.

From 11 December until 18 December 2022, police will allege that the group, who are believed to be known to each other, unlawfully entered multiple residences throughout the Greater Darwin Region. A number of personal items; including credit cards were stolen and used at several locations.

Yesterday Strike Force Trident members located and arrested four people. During the arrest one of the offenders attempted to evade police when Patrol Dog Drax was deployed and apprehended a 15-year-old male youth.

The group was taken to Palmerston Watch House and later charged with multiple property offences.

They are due to appear before court today.
