Police make drug arrest - Applecross

Perth Detectives have charged a man after his vehicle was stopped in Applecross on Thursday 23 July 2020.

Around 1.55pm police stopped the man's car in Canning Highway, near the corner of Sleat Road, and Senior Constable Flatt and Police Dog Quokka gave the man's car a thorough check.

It will be alleged that the search located 43 grams of methyl-amphetamine and over $4,000 cash hidden in the vehicle.

As a result a 38-year-old Perth man was charged with:

• Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell or Supply (Methylamphetamine).

• Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

• Possessed any drug paraphernalia in or on which there was a prohibited drug or plant.

He is due to re-appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 11 August 2020.
