Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a crash that occurred in Viveash on Friday, 17 April 2026.
About 2.25pm, a silver Ford Territory was travelling east on Muriel Street, near Cranwood Crescent, when it left the road and collided with a tree.
A four-year-old female child and a three-year-old female child were conveyed to Perth Children's Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The 24-year-old male driver of the vehicle and a 24-year-old female passenger were conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Investigators believe the Ford Territory and its occupants were at Reg Bond Reserve on Bernley Drive, Viveash, two hours prior to the crash and are urging anyone who saw the vehicle or occupants in the area during that time to come forward.
Investigators also wish to speak to the driver of a silver Mitsubishi Triton bearing Victorian license plates, which was travelling along Muriel Street around the time of the crash, as the driver may have information that will assist with inquiries.
