Police are investigating the sudden death of a child at a Coomera home on Monday.
Police were called to the residence around 8:00pm after a 12-year-old girl was found unresponsive and was later declared deceased.
The girl suffered from a number of health conditions. A post-mortem will be conducted today.
A crime scene has been established at the residence and the Child Protection and Investigation Unit is investigating.
