Police rescue man from cliff fall - Mosman

A man has been rescued from a cliff edge in Sydney's northern suburbs this afternoon.

About 5.20pm (Sunday 21 February 2021), officers from the North Shore Police Area Command attended Wyargine Street, Mosman, following concerns for a man who had fallen over the edge.

Police located a 55-year-old man clinging to branches on the side of a 20 metre cliff face. The officers grabbed hold of the man's arms to secure him from falling any further.

NSW Police Rescue and Bomb Disposal and Fire & Rescue NSW personnel attended and winched him to safety.

He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital suffering abrasions.
